Julia
Julia has always had a heart for animals and knew she wanted a career that involved caring for them—she just needed to find the right path. She began her professional life working with children, a role that helped her develop the incredible patience, empathy, and calm presence that now benefit every pet she grooms.
After a friend introduced her to pet grooming, Julia found her true calling. She trained at the New York Academy of Pet Styling in Victor, NY, where she honed a variety of grooming techniques and styling skills. Now, she’s thrilled to bring her expertise and gentle approach to the team at Grooming By The Canal.
Whether she’s providing a full groom or a soothing spa experience, Julia’s goal is always the same: to help every pet feel safe, cared for, and confident.
When she’s not in the salon, Julia enjoys reading and camping with her fiancé Nick and their Yorkshire Terrier, Tobey.
